Privacy notice

Last updated 1 August 2026. This notice explains how Sensor Nodehub handles personal data. Cookie mechanics are detailed separately in the Cookie notice.

1. Data controller

Sensor Nodehub is the data controller for information collected through this website and through studio enrolment. Desk: Street: Hat Kai Mook, Koh Chang, Koh Chang; City: Koh Chang; State/province/area: Trat; Zip code: 23170; Country calling code: +66; Country: Thailand. Phone: 039 551 038. Email: info@sensor-nodehub.digital.

2. What we collect

From the contact form: name, email, optional topic, and message. From enrolment: the same, plus role, employer or freelance status, and a short description of the loyalty mechanic you run. From invoices: billing name and bank-transfer references. We do not take card numbers on this site. If you join a live session, we process the display name and email you use to enter the room. Student programme data you voluntarily share for a review remains your organisation’s data; we treat it as confidential teaching material.

3. Why we process it

To answer desk mail, to decide whether a seat fits, to issue invoices, to deliver Field Notes files, to run live studios, and to keep records required under Thai accounting rules. If you accept analytics cookies, we also process coarse page-read statistics to see which journal essays are used. Legitimate interests and contract performance are the usual bases; we ask for consent where the cookie banner requires it.

4. Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are kept for 18 months, then deleted unless a conversation is still open. Enrolment and invoice records are kept for at least five years to satisfy Thai bookkeeping expectations. Journal mailing preferences, if you ever opt in by email, last until you ask us to stop. Analytics cookies, when accepted, expire as described in the cookie table. LocalStorage only stores your banner choice under the key sensor-nodehub_cookie_consent.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data we hold, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to info@sensor-nodehub.digital with enough detail for us to find you. We respond within thirty days. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand. These rights are not absolute; invoices we must keep under accounting law will not be erased on request alone.

6. International transfers

The desk is in Thailand. Email, video sessions, and file delivery may pass through processors outside Thailand (for example, when a student joins from another country or when mail is routed through a global host). Where we use such processors, we choose vendors that offer contractual safeguards and we avoid sending live guest extracts to tools we do not need. If your organisation forbids certain regions, say so before we confirm a seat.

7. Recipients

Instructors and the desk administrator see enrolment details. An accountant may see invoice fields. We do not sell lists. We do not share student programme extracts with other students without your written go-ahead.

8. Children

Studios are aimed at working analysts. We do not knowingly enrol anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top is the notice you should trust.
